Ms.Malkari Lahari Chowdry, a BA (hons) Political Science student of the Central University of Andhra Pradesh, was one amongst the students from all over India selected to speak in the Parliament as part of the celebrations of Ekta Diwas commemorating the Birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. She was selected following all India competitions in speaking and represented Andhra Pradesh in the Youth Parliament. Speaking in the Parliament, Ms. Lahari said, " Sardar Patel had exceptional leadership.The geographical entity that we live in today is the imprint of the print of the great statesmanship of this man". She concluded that the invaluable contributions of Sardar Patel in building a strong nation has to be remembered by each citizen of India.
