Prof. Reddy’s principal areas of academic and reseaarch interests include:

Prof. Reddy commenced her academic career as Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati (2006–2011), where she taught Public Administration, Research Methodology and International Relations.

In 2011, she joined the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), New Delhi, as Associate Professor in Socio-Political Development (Applied Social Sciences). In 2016, she was appointed Chair Professor, Dr. Ambedkar Chair in Social Justice, a position she held until January 2021. During her tenure at IIPA, Prof. Reddy contributed to the design, coordination, and delivery of national and international training programmes for senior government officials and academic professionals. She successfully coordinated the Advanced Professional Programme in Public Administration (APPPA) on three occasions, a ten-month flagship programme of IIPA for officers of the All India Services, Central Services, and Defence Services. She also completed professional training in Direct Trainer Skills (DTS) and Design of Training (DoT), conducted by Thames Valley University, United Kingdom.

She served as Principal, Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi, from January 2021 to August 2023, with responsibilities encompassing academic administration, institutional development and student welfare. In recognition of her service, she received the Best Employee Medal from the College Trust, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), in 2023.

Prof. Reddy joined the Central University of Andhra Pradesh in September 2023 and has since undertaken several key academic and administrative responsibilities, including Head, Department of Political Science; Registrar (I/c); Dean Academics; and Director (I/c), MMTTC. She currently serves as Vice-Chancellor (I/c).

Prof.Reddy brings extensive experience in higher education, teaching, research, academic administration, public administration and institutional leadership. Her academic engagement and leadership responsibilities reflect a sustained commitment to governance, social justice, public policy, professional development and institutional advancement.

Prof. Reddy has gained substantial international exposure through academic, professional, and institutional visits to several countries, including Sri Lanka, France, The United Kingdom, Singapore, China, Australia, South Africa, Italy, Belgium, Afghanistan, Hungary, and the United States of America. These engagements have enriched her academic and professional perspectives through exposure to diverse international practices and institutional environments.
