Associate Professor
Dr. Babu joined the Department of Political Science, Central University of Andhra Pradesh (CUAP) as an Associate Professor in July 2023 and is the first permanent faculty member of the University. He began his teaching and research career at a young age and currently has 17 years of combined teaching and research experience.
Before joining CUAP, he served as a Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Administration, Mizoram University (A Central University), Aizawl, Mizoram, India.
Qualification(s)
- B.A (Economics, Political Science and Sociology)-St. Josephs College (Affiliated to Bangalore University), Bengaluru, Karnataka - First Class.
- M.A in Public Administration from Madras Christian College (Affiliated to the University of Madras), Chennai, Tamil Nadu- Outstanding with Gold Medal and a Memorial Prize.
- Cleared UGC-National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Public Administration.
- Ph.D. in Politics and International Studies, Pondicherry University (A Central University), Puducherry.

He has successfully guided one Ph.D. scholar and is currently supervising six doctoral candidates. He has also guided 51 M.A. dissertations and field projects.

- Completed 1 Major Research Project sponsored by Mizoram Rural Bank (2022).
- Presently, he is serving as the Project Director and Administrator of the ANRF (PAIR) project, implemented in collaboration with IIT Hyderabad, with a total project outlay of ₹2.3 crore (2025-2026).
